Together We Thrive (TWT), a nonprofit start-up, seeks to address humanity’s most basic, fundamental needs: healthy food, clean water, and supportive shelter. TWT is seeking a President to run the Thrive Food Bank, whose mission is to provide vegetarian food to food-insecure populations.
The President will work in collaboration with TWT’s CEO and Founder to establish the food bank. The President arrive to the position with a deep understanding of the role that food production and distribution plays in global warming and have a passion for facilitating healthy food accessibility for marginalized populations in a way that minimizes carbon emissions. Further, they will come equipped with a deep understanding of how food banks operate, including the logistics of sourcing, storing, packing, and distribution of food.
TWT is seeking candidates who have experience starting up, developing, and directing new divisions or departments within an established food bank. Ideal candidates will be adept at taking advantage of opportunities for rapid growth. The ideal candidate will appreciate and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. They will have a balance of business savvy with a commitment to responsible, people-focused program delivery and embody the highest ethical standards.
The salary range for this position is $200,000-$240,000 annually + benefits.
